On Thursday, Plano JV handed a heaping bowl of disappointment to the Hebron Hawks JV with a go-ahead FG as the game clock ran out.  Hebron’s varsity returned the favor Friday night with its go-ahead TD in OT to hand the Wildcats a district game loss. The Plano Wildcats football teams checked off a major tune-up on August 21 for their 2015 season with a scrimmage against the Mesquite Skeeters.  Both JV and varsity squads with various combinations of athletes went full contact (except for QB’s) over the course of a long evening.  Acknowledging that there’s always room for improvement, especially pre-season, the Wildcats performed very well against their opponent Friday night and should thrive in the regular season.
