Q1 — Is there writing across the face of the print or digital download I receive?
Nope. The copyright watermark image is only on the image that’s shown on my on-line sales site web gallery.

Looking for the actionQ2 — Is the order size paper size or just image size?
It will be the final size of the paper. The prints are borderless, and are hand cropped to match the aspect ratio of the image size you order and maintain the impact of the image.

Q3 — E-Surface or metallic print – which is better?

E-Surface combines the best of glossy (a little sheen to give the colors some “punch”) and matte (resists and hides finger prints and little or no glare). E-Surface paper is a “premium, professional” photo print paper that many labs charge extra for. I think it’s the best photo print paper for most customers.

Metallic Endura is a special paper created by Kodak that has a very glossy finish and a metallic appearance. Images printed on this paper have rich, vibrant colors that have a striking, almost 3–dimensional appearance on an ultra bright background. Compared to regular glossy finish, images printed on this special paper will exhibit greater sharpness, brightness and color saturation.

You can select both E-Surface and metallic finishes in a single order but it may cause your order to be split when shipped.

Q4 — Do you make the prints locally?
Most print sizes and finishes are processed by a professional photo lab in Kansas that specializes in serving only professional photographers.  The quality of the prints from this lab far exceeds anything you or I could get from an inkjet printer at home, and under normal conditions the photo papers the lab uses will resist fading for 50+ years with proper care.

Q5 — What’s the turn around time on an order?
Expect 1–2 calendar days to edit and print the images, and 3–5 business days shipping. If you’re ordering big enlargements please select Priority Mail or better over First Class mail because Priority Mail and faster methods of shipping handle big enlargements better than First Class mail, and they provide package tracking. If you’re ordering just a few 4×6’s, First Class mail should be sufficient.  Digital Downloads are available in minutes!

Q6 — Do you offer digital image files?
Yes.  They can be ordered and downloaded directly from my on-line sales site.  If you’re interested in a very large quantity of digital images, please contact me for special pricing and delivery via Dropbox or a USB thumb drive.

Q7 — Is sales tax charged?
Not for Texas orders, or for that matter, any delivery destination except Kansas.

Q8 — My son/daughter will be in an upcoming big game. Can you shoot the game?
I’d like to, as a Custom Shoot.   Please contact me and I’ll check my calendar.

Q9 — I have hundreds of Favorites of my daughter/son over several seasons. Could I purchase these images on a thumb drive?
Depending on the sport, some players may be in hundreds of images over a season, or over a “school career.” If you want a high volume of images for your own family photo historical library, perhaps a Dropbox folder or thumb drive is the solution. Please contact me, and we can discuss volume, image size and pricing.

Q10 — Do you shoot portraits, senior pictures or special group events?
Sure, as a Custom Shoot.  Please contact me, and let’s talk about what you have in mind.

Q11 — Do you shoot weddings?
No. I am easily distracted by cake and hors d’oervres.

Q12 — What is the Gallery Warehouse?
That’s where galleries over six months old are moved to make room on the main gallery for new, current galleries. A gallery (with its sub-galleries) will remain on the main gallery page for six months after the last images are put on display. For example, the 2024 Plano Wildcats Softball Regular Season gallery and its sub-galleries will remain on the main gallery page for six months after the last game of the regular season is put up for display. The Gallery Warehouse is subdivided into years (2017, 2018, etc.). After six months of display each gallery and its sub-galleries will be moved to the Gallery Warehouse, and into the sub-gallery for the year the event occurred. For example, if you’re looking for the 2017 PSH Varsity Football Regular Season game images, click on the Gallery Warehouse picture or link, then click on the picture or link for 2017.
