The Plano Wildcats varsity football team traveled to Tyler on Aug.29 for a steamy game in Rose Stadium.  The first half was all about defense, and the second half the teams found the end zone.  It was a long ride home for the Wildcats, though, as they dropped the first game of the 2014 season 30-12. The Plano Wildcats football team traveled to Mesquite on Friday, Aug. 22 for both JV and varsity scrimmages with the Skeeters.  With live reffing, the teams alternated 12-play sets through most of the evening, and the varsity scrimmage ended with a timed 12-minute quarter.  Neither team scored during the timed play. The Wildcats JV appeared to have an edge over their opponents, but the varsity Skeeters and Wildcats seemed to be evenly matched.  Of course, both teams were using the scrimmage as an opportunity to test some players and player mixes, so fans can’t read too much into the event.  Regardless, it was fun toRead More →
