The Plano East Panthers hosted the 2026 rivalry game against the Plano Wildcats at Tom Kimbrough Stadium on Oct. 16 in cool temps that were a stark departure from the triple digit field temps both teams had to endure almost every week of this season.
Like so many games between these two teams, the score remained close until the forth quarter, when this year it was the Panthers who made a scoring push and held on to the lead to the end despite a Wildcat effort to tie in the last minutes of the game.
