Plano was the home team for the second round of Plano v. Princeton 2026 district softball games held on March 27. A cold front had blown in early in the afternoon and by JV gametime a cold wind was howling across the field from the North, and by varsity game time a cold, wind-driven drizzle made playing conditions miserable. Nonetheless, both Plano teams won, and Plano varsity sent everyone home early after the top of the 5th with a 14-1 lead.
