Plano East was the home team for the 2025 game against Plano, so the teams played in Plano ISD’s Tom Kimbrough Stadium, and due to storms forecast for Friday the 24th, the game was moved up to Thursday the 23rd. The teams were pretty evenly matched this year, and the drama built to the last minute of the game with Plano ahead 17-15 and Plano East grinding to get within field goal range. Plano’s defense held as time ran out and the Plano Wildcats put another “W” on its side of the ledger for this rivalry.
