Due to forecast storms for Friday night, Plano ISD joined many local school districts in rescheduling the varsity football games from Friday to Thursday, thus pushing the JV football games ahead by a day to Thursday. To accommodate the change Plano and Plano East consolidated their respective JV1 and JV2 teams into one, and played their annual match-up on Oct. 22 at Clark West Field. East scored first and held an early lead, but Plano clawed back in the second half to tie the score and foil East’s field goal attempt with under 16 seconds left on the game clock. Under Texas UIL rules there is no overtime for JV football games, so the final score held at 28-28.
