As another consequence of renovation of Plano Senior High’s softball field, the Plano Wildcats hosted the second round of 2025 district softball games against the Plano West Wolves on April 1 at Plano East’s field, a surreal experience for fans of both schools. Due to threatened rain, the varsity game was played first and the Wildcats won 13-8, but the Wolves won the following JV game 8-1.
