Although the Plano Wildcats softball teams have been using the Plano West field as its home field this season while their field is under renovation, on March 4 the Wildcats moved over to the Visitors dugout as the Plano West Wolves hosted the first 2025 district games with Plano. For the past several years the Plano v Plano West softball games have been very competitive, where the outcome is contested right down to the last inning (or extra inning). This evening’s varsity game was no different as West was behind in the bottom of the 7th but was able to win 17-16. The JV game also went to West 8-6.
