Originally scheduled to play at Tom Kimbrough Stadium, the Plano Wildcats and Plano East Panthers JV football teams met on Sept. 22 at Williams Stadium, the site of the original Plano High School football field. Forty-one years ago Plano East Senior High School fielded its first JV football team, so this venue was a bit throw-back. I don’t know how that first match between these schools’ JV teams played out, but this year the Wildcats were the visiting team, and they swept both games.
