The Plano Lady Wildcats hosted the second round of 2022 district softball games against the Plano West Lady Wolves, with the Lady Wolves winning the JV game and, in 8 innings, the Lady Wildcats won the varsity game. With this win the Lady Wildcats earned PISD City Champ bragging rights. Also, in a last hurrah for Plano seniors, family members came onto the field before the varsity game for some warm-up throws and catching, and ceremonial first pitches.
