The Robinson Razorbacks hosted the Rice Ravens 8th grade boys “B” and “A” basketball teams on Feb. 3 and the Razorbacks earned the win in both games with a comfortable margin. However, in the “A” game, with 6.4 seconds left on the game clock, Ravens #25 stole the ball and made an astounding half-court buzzer-beating throw to shave 3 off the final score spread. The Robinson Razorbacks hosted the Rice Ravens for some 8th grade boys basketball action on Jan. 9, and those who were there for the early game were treated to fast-paced action and a dramatic come-from-behind ending for the Razorbacks. Down pretty much throughout the game, and behind by one with 11 seconds left in the game, Robinson’s “B” team made a go-ahead bucket and denied Rice a rebound on their failed shot at redemption 5 seconds before the ending buzzer.
