Plano swept the best-of-three game playoff series against Odessa Permian by winning the second game on May 18.   The Lady Wildcats came out swinging and connecting in the top of first inning, took the lead, and never looked back on the way to the 12-5 finish. The Plano Lady Wildcats boarded a bus to Abilene to play Odessa Permian for the Regional Semi-Final round of the 2018 Texas UIL softball playoffs.  Playing a best-of-three series, the teams are playing at Abilene Christian University’s field.  The first game, started on May 17, but due to lightning and rain delays it ended on May 18.  Plano won in the bottom of the 8th inning, pulling out from behind for a 10-9 finish.
