The 2019 Plano vs. McKinney Boyd football game was the last home game of the season for Plano, so it was Senior Night. Coincidentally, it was also Plano’s Homecoming game. McKinney Boyd JV hosted the 2019 game with Plano JV on Halloween, and by the 4th quarter it was so cold there was a cloud of exhaled breath between the offensive and defensive lines when they were set before the snap. The McKinney Boyd Broncos hosted the Plano Wildcats this year in McKinney ISD’s brand new football stadium.  The stadium is awesome, and the folks in McKinney have every reason to be proud to have it it for many football seasons to come! Unfortunately for the Broncos, the Wildcats spoiled the debut party by winning out over the home team 39-10. The Plano Wildcats football teams swept the McKinney Boyd Broncos this season.  Both were low-scoring games, and the varsity game tested the ball handling of both teams as the temp dropped into the low 40’s from cold Northerly winds.
