For their second evening of 2024 district games during Spring Break the Plano Lady Wildcats softball JV and varsity teams traveled to Lewisville on March 13. The 13th was a lucky day for both Lady Wildcats teams as they each defeated the Lady Farmers and finish out the break with two district wins under their belts. Lewisville hosted the second round of 2023 district play against the Plano Lady Wildcats on April 11, and it was varsity-only because Lewisville wasn’t able to field a JV team this week. That’s OK, because there were two games worth of action rolled into the one varsity game. In the early innings the Lady Farmers took the lead and established a modest cushion of runs. The Plano Lady Wildcats hosted the first round of 2023 district games against Lewisville on St. Patrick’s Day, and as a bonus for Wildcats fans it was also Senior Night. Plano swept both JV and varsity games, though the bats of the Lady Fighting Farmers suddenly came alive in the last two innings to give the Wildcats a scare. The 2nd round of 2021 district softball games between Plano and Lewisville suffered some scheduling changes during testing week that resulted in a varsity-only game on a Thursday night, Apr. 8.
