With the 2021 Texas District 6-6A softball play ending in a two-way tie for 3rd place between Plano and Hebron, a seeding playoff game was played at Plano West’s field on April 22. Plano hosted the second round of 2021 district softball games against Flower Mound on April 13 and the visitors swept the series. These were the last 2021 regular season home games for the Wildcats, and after the conclusion of the JV game parents of the seniors quietly came onto the field for a few minutes of catch with their daughters for the last time at Plano Senior High. The 2nd round of 2021 district softball games between Plano and Lewisville suffered some scheduling changes during testing week that resulted in a varsity-only game on a Thursday night, Apr. 8. In the second round of 2021 district softball play Plano hosted Marcus on March 30 and both JV and varsity games went the distance but Marcus won both games. It was also Teacher Appreciation Night for Plano, as player-selected faculty members were recognized on the field before the games and left with well-earned goodie bags.
