The Wildcats JV and varsity football teams came away empty-handed from their 2017 games against Allen.  The Wildcats 2005 varsity team remains the last PISD football team to defeat Allen (ask Jasper H.S. asst. coach Mark Sfikas, the QB for that 2005 team, about it). Plano’s football team traveled to Mesquite on August 25 for the annual pre-season scripted JV and varsity scrimmages against the Skeeters.  The results of Friday night’s play will factor into the final sorting of players between the varsity and JV teams, and the likely first season-game starters for each team.   Jersey changes within Plano teams and between JV & varsity teams are common, so you can’t always assume which player was wearing a certain number unless you received confirmation from a player or coach (or very confident parent).
