The Plano Lady Wildcats softball team won their way to the 2018 Texas UIL State 6A Semifinal Championship round of play, held June 1 in Austin, Texas, at the University of Texas McCombs Field.  The Lady Wildcats faced Humble Atascocita, who bested the Wildcats 4-2, and went on to become the 6A State Champions for this year. Last week the Plano Lady Wildcats varsity softball team finished a rain-delay game against Allen on Thursday, then hosted McKinney Boyd’s varsity the next night.  The Lady Wildcats won each game, and with the win against Boyd they clinched the 2018 6-6A District Championship.  There were no JV games played against either team.
