Plano’s historic Williams Field was the venue for the 2020 9th grade football game between Plano cross-town rivals Clark and Williams high schools. Each school wore the colors of the varsity team they feed into (Plano, for Clark; Plano East, for Williams). Clark scored first and never looked back on the way to a 49-22 win. During a bye week for their varsity feeder teams, Clark and Williams High Schools 10th grade football teams donned varsity colors on Sept. 15 for their game at John Clark Stadium.  The scoreboard and clock didn’t function throughout the game, making it a little challenging to follow the pace and scoring, but Clark made the best of it, winning bragging rights for maroon and white.
