The Plano Wildcats varsity 7 On 7 football team qualified again for the State Championship Tournament and traveled to College Station for competition over two days. The first day, pool play, saw the Wildcats beat Montwood (El Paso) 31-20, Hedrickson (Pflugerville) 26-20, but lose to Cy Springs in the last seconds of the game 28-22.  That was good enough for the Wildcats to advance to the Championship bracket on the next day, where it’s single elimination.  The Woodlands sent the Wildcats home in a low scoring game where Plano had a thin 7-6 lead at the half, but Plano couldn’t make the extra points toRead More →

The Wildcats varsity 7 On 7 football team won all three pool play games on Friday (Port Neches 39-13; Azle 34-32; and Houston Lamar 21-20) and advanced to the Championship round of play on Saturday.
