The Plano Wildcats football team traveled to Mesquite on Friday, Aug. 22 for both JV and varsity scrimmages with the Skeeters. With live reffing, the teams alternated 12-play sets through most of the evening, and the varsity scrimmage ended with a timed 12-minute quarter. Neither team scored during the timed play. The Wildcats JV appeared to have an edge over their opponents, but the varsity Skeeters and Wildcats seemed to be evenly matched.
