The Plano Wildcats football team traveled to Mesquite on Friday, Aug. 22 for both JV and varsity scrimmages with the Skeeters.  With live reffing, the teams alternated 12-play sets through most of the evening, and the varsity scrimmage ended with a timed 12-minute quarter.  Neither team scored during the timed play. The Plano Wildcats annual spring Maroon & White football scrimmage was held May 15 in John Clark Stadium.  Under the best weather conditions in years, the coaching staff put the players through the paces with the game clock turned off.  The verdict?  I’d say there were too many variables in play to reach any conclusions.  But if you take a look at the action photos you’ll see hints of great performance you may see in the fall.
