For their first 2016 district match the Plano Wildcats traveled east to the Lady Panthers Field on Sat. March 12 for games rescheduled from a rain-out earlier in the week. The first 2016 season district softball games between Plano West and Plano played just before the spring break storms opened up on March 7. Under threat of thunderstorms, the varsity game played out first, and the teams battled until the bottom of the 10th inning when the Lady Wildcats finally put the game away. The 2015 season has come to an end for the Plano Lady Wildcats Softball teams, and the season was celebrated at the softball program banquet on May 31. Ten seniors said their good-byes, and JV and varsity players were recognized for achievement locally and at the district level.
