During a bye week for their varsity feeder teams, Clark and Williams High Schools 10th grade football teams donned varsity colors on Sept. 15 for their game at John Clark Stadium.  The scoreboard and clock didn’t function throughout the game, making it a little challenging to follow the pace and scoring, but Clark made the best of it, winning bragging rights for maroon and white. The Clark Cougars 10th grade football team hosted Lewisville at John Clark Stadium on Nov. 6.  The Cougars, wearing Plano white & maroon jerseys, jumped to an early lead, then the Fighting Farmers crept within a point of a tie by the final buzzer.   But the Cougars lead held, and and their winning momentum carried over to the varsity Wildcats the next night, who bested the Farmers by a wide margin. Flower Mound Marcus 9th graders traveled to John Clark Stadium on Oct. 29 to take on Clark High School’s 9th grade “A” and “B” teams.  Marcus won the “B” game, and the “A” teams tied after a very fast-paced, hard-hitting game. Allen’s “B” JV team hosted Plano’s Clark High School 10th grade football team on Sept. 17 at the old Allen stadium.  The Cougars built momentum throughout the game and walked away from the old stadium with a 34-27 win over the Eagles.
