Allen’s “B” JV team hosted Plano’s Clark High School 10th grade football team on Sept. 17 at the old Allen stadium.  The Cougars built momentum throughout the game and walked away from the old stadium with a 34-27 win over the Eagles. The Plano Wildcats varsity football team traveled to Tyler on Aug.29 for a steamy game in Rose Stadium.  The first half was all about defense, and the second half the teams found the end zone.  It was a long ride home for the Wildcats, though, as they dropped the first game of the 2014 season 30-12.
