Rescheduled from the prior sub-freezing and sleeting date, the Mesquite Horn vs. Plano Senior High varsity softball game on Feb. 12 produced three entries for the Wildcats Softball record book: the first varsity win of the 2014 season; the first game with new Varsity Assistant Coach Amy Lam; and the first win for new Varsity Head Coach Molly Pipak.   Tied at three-all going into the bottom of the 7th, Jade Miller set the stage for the go-ahead with a triple.  Next up, Kali Bolter banged a line drive that brought in Miller and closed the game with a Wildcats 4-3 win.  Congratulations Coach Pipak,Read More →

The Lady Wildcats varsity softball team braved another frigid Saturday on Feb. 8 to scrimmage in advance of games that go on the record.  McKinney North was the first opponent, and they faced Adrienne Edwards on the mound for Plano.  Dani O’Brien pitched for the Wildcats in the second scrimmage, against Wylie.  The Lady Wildcats bats were on fire against Wylie; Alexis Santos and Kali Bolter each had an out-of-the park home run. The Plano Lady Wildcats varsity team braved a cold, blustery Saturday to tune up against three non-district teams on Feb. 1.  Lovejoy in the early morning, Keller at noon and Marcus immediately after was the line-up, and the Lady Wildcats appeared to limber up and pick up speed and execution with each game. On Dec. 2 the Renner 8th grade boys basketball team traveled east to Robinson Middle School for an evening of good West Cluster basketball, and the teams didn’t disappoint. In: PSH Varsity Football, Where I've been

Last year year it was in SMU’s Gerald J. Ford Stadium, and this year it was in Grand Prairie’s Gopher Warrior Bowl.  But both years the Wildcats met the Skyline Raiders in the Bi-District round of Texas 5A football playoffs.  And once again Skyline was a very worthy opponent, once again advancing to the next playoff round.
