In: Plano Varsity Softball

The Plano Lady Wildcats varsity softball team hosted a round-robin pre-district tournament on Saturday, Feb. 7 and played games against Lovejoy, Rockwall Heath, and Bishop Lynch.  The first game, at 9 a.m. against Lovejoy, revealed that the 2015 varsity Lady Wildcats are not morning people.  But by noon Plano woke up and demonstrated skills they hope will take them into the post-season again this year. The Clark High School 9th grade Boys basketball teams hosted McMillen High on Jan. 27 and the Clark Cougars walked away with both “A” and “B” team wins. The Plano Wildcats were seeded against Denton Guyer for the 2014 6A Division II Bi-District playoff round, played on Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.  Alas, Denton Guyer’s offense washed over  the Wildcats, and Denton Guyer advances to the next round.
