The Plano varsity softball team has been participating in the annual Allen Softball Tournament held at the Allen Station softball complex Feb. 19-21, 2026, and I dropped in on the afternoon of the 21st to photograph Plano’s game against Flower Mound at 1 p.m., followed by their scheduled game against Eaton at 3 p.m. After a protracted delay, Flower Mound forfeited, and the Eaton game was moved up to start at 2:15 p.m. Apparently the unplanned 75 minute delay put the Wildcats out of competitive rhythm as neither their bullpen nor bats seemed to warm up. Eaton earned a 19-1 win.
