August 11 was the first day Plano Wildcats Football sophomores, juniors and seniors held an official 2025 season practice. Starting in just jerseys and helmets under Texas UIL rules, the team has only 10 days until their tune-up scrimmage against Denton Guyer, and then only 9 days until the first game of the season, a rare Saturday game against Odessa Permian that will be played at The Star In Frisco, the official practice field for the Dallas Cowboys.
