To begin the second day of the 2024 Allen Varsity Softball Tournament the Plano Lady Wildcats faced Bells (from the Sherman, TX vicinity) at 9:00 a.m. Bells scored first and built a 6-2 lead until Wildcat senior Rachel Newby sparked a rally that narrowed Bells’ lead, 6-5. Alas, Plano couldn’t close the gap further before the game clock ran out.
