Friday the 13th proved unlucky for me as well as the Plano Wildcats varsity football team in 2023. Although scoring first with a FG, the Wildcats quickly fell behind in the first quarter when the Farmers intercepted for a quick 6, then converted a two-point attempt to go up 8-3. Lewisville commanded the lead for the rest of the game.
On a personal note, my videocam operator had a family emergency come to light at halftime and I had to leave and take him home to Plano, so I only have photos and video for the first half of the game. Happily, things quickly turned around for the better for my friend’s daughter and all is well now.
