The Plano Lady Wildcats hosted the first district softball games of the 2023 season against the Plano East Lady Panthers, and the Wildcats won both JV and varsity games.
The evening was dedicated to Carrie Vega, mother of Plano varsity sophomore player Bella Vega. Carrie lost her fight with cancer in September, and the Lady Panthers joined the Lady Wildcats on the field as a memorial to Carrie was unveiled on the center field fence.
