Coppell hosted the Plano Wildcats for the last 2022 regular season game on a Thursday night (changed from Friday due to forecast storms for that day, which came true) and used the home field advantage to the fullest for the win. The silver lining for Plano was learning that the team made the District 6-6A cut for the playoffs.
