Plano Senior High hosted a 2022 season 7 On 7 Football State Qualifying Tournament on May 21, and the hosting school’s team was one of three that qualified for a berth in the Texas State 7 On 7 Championship Tournament in July. The Plano Wildcats won all four games played, but it took three OT periods to win the first game against a very tough Frisco Centennial team. Plano’s additional wins were against Colleyville Heritage, North Crowley, and Richardson Pearce.
