Rockwall High School hosted varsity softball scrimmages on Feb. 15 that were originally to be played at Plano, but heavy mid-week rains spoiled that plan and Rockwall, with its all-turf field, graciously stepped up. (Thank you, Rockwall!)
The Lady Wildcats varsity played Frisco Lebanon Trail and Rockwall high school teams in timed scrimmage games that gave all teams a chance to try out players in different roles and tune-up the fundamentals.
