It was a one game, winner-take-all night for Plano and Keller for the 2018 Texas UIL 6A Region I championship. Denton Ryan High School provided the spectacular neutral field, and those in attendance witnessed the best of high school softball. The game ended after the top of the 7th when home team Plano quickly put three outs on the scoreboard and sealed the 2-1 win.
