In the first 2017 district games between the Plano Lady Wildcats and the McKinney Lady Lions, on March 9, the Wildcats swept the Lions. The JV game was a lopsided Plano 18-0 win. Plano’s varsity lead their whole game, but the Lady Lions rallied in the later innings to add some suspense until the last out in the bottom of the 7th. The game ended with a pop-fly to the short stop and a Plano 5-4 win.
