In the Area Round of the 2014 Texas UIL softball playoffs the Plano Lady Wildcats drew Mesquite Horn as the opponent in a best-of-three competition. The first game was played at Plano’s home field on May 1, and the second at Mesquite Horn’s on May 2. Plano swept the series and earned the weekend off.
